Determining Field Playability |

Fairfax County Parks Department criteria for determining playability are as follows: · There is standing water on any portion of the field. · The sound of a footstep (squish-squish) can be heard while walking on the field. · While standing on the field, water can be observed gathering around the sole of the foot. · While walking (not running) across a grass portion of the field, a footprint is left in the soil (not just the grass bending over). · While walking (not running) on any dirt portion of the field, an impression ½” or deeper is made in the soil. |

Regular Season game and practice schedules have been posted under the Schedules/Scores section of the website. Post season / pool play schedules will be posted later. Stay tuned for the Single A schedule. Each AA, AAA, and Majors team will get a practice field one night a week for the entire evening - so start when you want and go as long as you want. |

9/2/08 UPDATE: We now have enough coaches! Team rosters have been sent out and players should be hearing from their coaches starting today. Practices begin this week and games start Monday 8 Sep. |

Teams are full, practices have begun, and games will begin the afternoon of Saturday 6 September. Game schedules by division are still in work and will be posted soon - we apprciate your patience. A field day will be held the morning of 6 September from 8-11 AM. Stand by for field day announcements. |
