Spring 2015 Babe Ruth Registration Is Still Open

NFC Babe Ruth (13-15 year olds) Spring 2015 registration is still open.

The NFC Babe Ruth new player tryouts will be held on Sunday (3/22) at Stratton Woods Park.  The rain in the forecast for Friday will prevent us from using the field on Saturday.
Please visit  www.nfcbaberuth.com  for more information and to register.

Babe Ruth is an international organization promoting youth baseball.  Northern Fairfax County (NFC) Babe Ruth League is the local chapter for 13-15 year olds.  Our territory stretches from RT 7 to RT 28.  Traditionally our players come from Chantilly Little League, Herndon Cal Ripken (HOYB) and Reston Little League.  We form teams locally and play on local fields.  We also play teams from other Babe Ruth leagues in Fairfax County.

Within Babe Ruth there are three levels: Prep level where 13 year old players become acclimated to the 90 foot field with other players with similar abilities;  Alliance level (14-15s) for those preparing for high school level baseball.  Babe Ruth level (more advanced 14-15 yr old players)  for those at the high school level of play. Players can move between levels as their skill level dictates.

Tryouts will be held Sat, March 14 (weather permitting).  Returning players  from Spring 2014 are not required to tryout.  Encourage your friends to join the fun and play on local fields.  Both Alliance and Babe Ruth levels will be open too.  Babe Ruth level starts their compressed season after the High School JV season is over so you can play both.

Games will began during the first week of April as fields are available from the County.  League shirts and sweat shirts are available for purchase during registration.
